Get to puppy level (your hands and knees) and look for: dangling cords, small objects (socks, shoes, kids' toys), toxic plants (lilies, poinsettia, sago palm), accessible trash. Anything within reach will be chewed.
Supplies checklist: crate, bed, bowls, collar/harness (x2 — puppy grows fast), leash (x2 lengths), toys (variety: soft, hard, puzzle, tug), treats (soft, high-value), poop bags, enzymatic cleaner (Nature's Miracle), puppy pads (for emergencies).
