Days 1-3: minimal stimulation. Let the puppy adjust to your home. One room only, lots of sleep (18-20 hours/day for puppies), establish potty schedule. NO visitors, NO trips, NO pet stores.
Vet visit within 48 hours: health check, vaccine schedule, fecal test, microchip discussion. Bring a fecal sample. Ask about local parvo risk — that determines your socialization strategy (carry vs ground).
